I hope to include a railfan directory in the near future, but please browse the photos and links, hopefully you'll find them useful no matter where you are. Feel freel to submit your own favorite sites or useful links that may be helpful to those that railfan or model Cincinnati.

Cincinnati is a great city with much to offer the railroad fan. CSX and Norfolk Southern both serve the city, as well as our very own short line railroad, the Indiana & Ohio. Amtrak also serves the city and calls the grand Union Terminal it's home. Used since the height in passenger travel, you can still see some of the rich history that has been preserved and restored. If your travels take you through CVG International Airport, there are murals that once hung at train station and have been preseved and are hanging in the terminals at CVG. Don't forget to photograph the numerous bridges that cross the mighty Ohio. You can see the NS bridge from many vantage points on the river front, along with the old Baltimore & Ohio Freight Terminal on the Ohio side near the CSX bridge.

Once you've had your fill of trains, you'll discover Cincinnati has lots to offer! The Cincinnati Reds and the Great American Ballpark offer a great break from rail-related activities, with the best view of the Ohio River and Northern Kentucky in town. The Art Deco style Union Terminal on the west side of Cincinnati is not only a train station, but also the location of Cincinnati Museum Center IMAX theater. Don't forget about Tower A which offers a great view of Queensgate Yard! Great food, entertainment, and atmosphere can be found in abundance at Newport on the Levy, making the Cincinnati area full of activities all will enjoy!
